New Wax Dipped Bears for 2008
Wax dipped
bears (or other animals) are a new and unusual way of scenting your home.
We take real, premium quality teddy bears and dunk them in hot, intensely
scented wax until they are completely saturated with fragrance. We wring
out the excess wax and then pose, fluff and style the bears before they set
solid. No two dipped bears will ever look the same, so you can guarantee that
yours will have a character all of its own! All you need to do to start enjoying the wonderful fragrance
emanating from your dipped bear,
is simply remove it from the protective bag and place it anywhere in your home.
These bears are so strongly scented, that they will
fill the air with
gorgeous aromas for several months, but if the
fragrance starts to fade, it can easily be revived by fluffing
the fur with a fork in a warm stream of air from a
hair dryer for approximately 1 minute.
ALL of our dipped animals are gift wrapped with a
satin bow, care instructions and a thick glass plate for
them to sit on, so they are ready to be given as gifts
straight away!

Baby Bears |
|
 |
|
When we introduced our range of
wax dipped bears in 2007, we had NO idea just how
quickly our customers would fall in love with
them! They purchased them for wedding gifts,
Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, christening gifts
and also for the arrival of new babies!
Due to the overwhelming demand
for our bears, and after receiving several
requests, we are now proud to introduce our two
new "Baby Bears" which are available in baby pink
or blue and are 7" tall whilst seated.
These bears are just the perfect gift to
congratulate new mums and to welcome a new baby
into the world.
We can, of course, dip these
bears in ANY scent you choose - but we can highly
recommend our 100% accurate "Baby Powder" scent!

Bubba
Bubba is a big boy with a big
heart. With his cute smile and gentle eyes
we dare you not to fall in love with him!
All Bubba wants from life is to
be useful and have a job that he can't mess up,
but unfortunately, he's not the sharpest knife in
the drawer and never seems to be able to get
things right. Just as he was thinking that
all hope was lost after failing at his last job as
a Chef (he left the gas on.....there was an
explosion.....need we say more?) we decided to
offer him a PROPER job that simply couldn't go
wrong!
We've trained him as much as we
can, and as far as we're concerned, Bubba does an
absolutely fabulous job of filling the air with
sensational scents! This truly is a happy
ending for Bubba - he's got the job he's always
wanted, and you get to admire his cute face and
inhale his gorgeous aroma. Bubba is
10" tall whilst seated.

Karrothers |
|
 |
|
Karrothers was an addict. A carrot juice
addict to be precise. You wouldn't believe
it for such a young bunny but sadly it's true.
Every single day Karrothers could be found using
his juice and smoothie
maker to squeeze, crush and blend every
imaginable variety of carrot juice known to man
(or bunny!)
Harmless you might think, but somebody had to pay
for all those carrots, and poor Karrothers had
already spent his life savings on carrots.
The only thing for the little guy to do was turn
to a life of crime. We won't go into the
gory details about how many Green Grocers this
naughty bunny stole from, and we certainly won't
highlight his stealing sprees at the local
Farmer's Market, but suffice to say - eventually
he got caught! He was given a choice, he
could come to us, be rehabilitated and learn to be
a useful and fragrant member of society..or he'd
end up in a nice big casserole. Guess which
option he chose!
If you'd like to give Karrothers a home, he'll be
more than happy to fill your home with your chosen
scent - just keep him away from your vegetable
rack and also your jewellery (carats....get it?)
Karrothers is 7" tall whilst seated. Click

Belinda
Belinda is a real lady!
With snowy white fur and beautiful blue eyes, she
is a real head turner and isn't short of male
admirers.
Belinda prefers to be called
"Lady Belinda" and insists on being treated like
royalty. She expects afternoon tea promptly
at 3pm each day - but be warned, she expects her
cucumber sandwiches to have the crusts cut off and
only real Devonshire clotted cream will do for her
scones.
Despite Belinda's desire for
the luxuries in life, she's not really that high
maintenance. She does like to be pampered
and preened once a month, but this isn't a hard
job - simply fluff her fur with a fork in a stream
of warm air from a hair dryer for about a minute,
and she'll be good as new.
Belinda is 11" tall
whilst seated. If your choice of fragrance
involves using a dark coloured oil, which could
discolour her fur, we will let you know and see if
you wish to proceed or choose and alternative.

Patch |

Patch was in a sorry state when we found him.
Once a successful bear-walk model in Paris and
Milan, it was inevitable that age would catch
up with him. All of a sudden there were
younger, fitter, and slimmer bears being given
all of the best jobs. HIS jobs.
One day, Patch crossed paths
with a rather unscrupulous plastic surgeon,
who promised to restore his youthful looks for
a large fee. In perhaps a moment of
madness, Patch didn't hesitate and
handed over his life savings. As
you can see from the many large stitches and
his rather surprised look - he was duped!
We found Patch, drunkenly wandering around the
streets of Camden, feeling rather sorry for
himself. We bought him home, put him through
re-hab and taught him that there WAS life in
the old bear yet. Would YOU like to care for
Patch in his retirement? We can only
suggest that you keep him away from the drinks
cabinet. Patch is 8" tall whilst
seated.

Barney
Barney knocked on our door last year,
desperate for a new home for him and his many
twin brothers. We couldn't turn him
away, he was just so cute! We didn't
realise that he had SO many brothers though,
but that's OK as it means our supplies are
endless! After an intensive training
course on how to pose, how to sneak food when
nobody was looking and proper toilet manners,
Barney was ready to take the plunge.
Quite literally.
We drowned that poor little bear in super hot,
super fragrant wax, and then wrung him out for
all he was worth. Using his months of
training, he gritted his teeth against the
pain and sat himself down in his favourite
pose. Then, as if gazed upon by the
wicked eyes of Medusa, our little Barney set
solid - ready for his new home. That
first brave Barney isn't for sale, but YOU can
have one of his identical twin brothers,
dipped in the scented wax of your choice!
Barney is 7.5" tall whilst seated.

Joe, Jack & Jenny |

These
adorable bears are none other than the "Amazing Bear
Trio" from the world famous Waxy Bear Circus. They
specialise in the art of mime and their favourite
mime is the 'statue'. They can stay in position
for weeks at a time, seeming not to even blink!
However,
all is not as it seems, because when you go to
bed, that's when they'll have a little stretch and
wander around the room before settling back into
position before the sun comes up.
These bears are 6" tall whilst seated. Adopt all
three and we'll give you a discount, but they're
quite happy to go it alone too. Click

Tom & Katie
These two pretty kitties are a
brother and sister team. They're both full
of fun, as you'd expect from kittens, and are sure
to bring a smile to the face of anyone who adopts
them.
They are well behaved most of
the time and will generally stay wherever you
leave them, as long as it's not too close to a
radiator or other heat source!
Tom and Katie are 7.5"
tall and available separately. However,
seeing as they do prefer to be kept together,
we've offered a special discount if you buy both!

Tucker |
|
 |
|
We were given Tucker by a
friendly local farmer last year. The farmer
originally bought Tucker as a guard dog, but
unfortunately for the farmer, Tucker is about as
vicious as a cheese cracker.
Fortunately for us though, we
found that this adorable little chap was perfect
for wax dipping! Why not make Tucker
the new member of YOUR family? Your home may
not be any safer, but it sure will smell better!
If you'd like to adopt Tucker,
please remember, a wax dipped dog is not just for
Christmas, it's for any time of the year!
This little fella is 8" tall whilst seated.

Max
Poor Max. He just cannot
stay out of trouble. Try as he might, he's
like a trouble magnet. Put him on the
mantelpiece and you'd think he'd stay there....but
oh no...turn your back and he'll be rummaging
through your dustbins, chasing the cat and
stealing food from your fridge before you know it.
Even after being dipped in our
best waxes, he's just as naughty as he was when we
first found him. But look at him - isn't he
cute? How could you stay mad at a face like
that?
If you think you can cope with
a little bit of mischief now and then, and can
learn to ignore the teeth-marks in your shoes,
then Max could be the perfect dippy dog for you!
Max is 6.5" tall whilst seated.

IMPORTANT NOTICE -
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
|
1) |
These dipped animals are NOT toys and should be kept away
from children.
|
|
2) |
All of our bears are supplied with a glass
plate to sit on - you should NEVER
sit a bear directly onto wooden, polished, plastic or gloss
surfaces as the fragrant wax
will damage them.
|
|
3) |
These bears are NOT candles and therefore do not have a
wick. They are for use as a room freshener only.
Please do not try to light them as they'll go up like a
torch! |
|
4) |
Please avoid placing your bear too
close to a heat source like a radiator or fire, as this
may melt the wax or cause the bear to catch fire if it
becomes overheated. |
